Terms of service

These terms concern use of mikeit.dev and its content. The described IT services are intended for businesses and professional clients. Scope, fees and other terms of an engagement are agreed separately. Visiting this website does not create a service contract. Apps may also be offered to consumers. Product-specific terms and mandatory consumer rights apply there. An external app checkout is separate from this information website and from individual IT engagements.

MikeIT.dev provides IT services around Excel, VBA, reporting, process automation, Power BI and data analytics, ITSM and IT infrastructure, AI integration, and training and workshops on these topics. The website describes services and enables contact by form, email and a booking widget. It does not replace individual consulting.

Our IT services follow the prices and payment terms agreed in the individual offer. Under the German small business rule in Section 19 UStG, VAT is currently not charged or separately shown for these services. A 14-day payment period applies only where agreed for the engagement. For app purchases through an external seller, the final prices, taxes and payment conditions displayed at checkout apply. The small-business statement about our services does not describe that seller's tax calculation.

QuackTile has separate terms: https://mikeit.dev/en/apps/quacktile/terms . Where a paid version is offered, the Merchant of Record identified at checkout handles that purchase contract and payment. Lemon Squeezy is currently designated for this purpose. Its terms complement the product terms where applicable. These references do not exclude mandatory rights, particularly consumer rights against the relevant obligated contracting party.

Articles, tutorials, templates, and downloads are for information. Unless marked as paid, they are free sample or helper material without guarantee of a specific outcome. No shop is active yet.

Templates are intended for your own business use as described on each page. Redistribution or resale requires separate agreement.

Site content is not legal, tax, or business advice.

I aim for stable operation but do not guarantee uninterrupted availability. Maintenance and updates can cause short outages.

Statutory liability provisions apply. These website terms do not exclude mandatory claims, in particular for injury to life, body or health, intent, gross negligence or under product liability law. Separately and validly agreed terms for a specific business engagement remain unaffected within legal limits.

Site content is protected by copyright unless stated otherwise.

Relevant product, contract and privacy information will be provided before introducing new paid products, subscriptions or checkout functions of our own. Existing individual contracts are not automatically changed by this.

German law applies where validly agreed. Consumers retain mandatory protections under the law applicable through statutory conflict-of-law rules. These terms do not establish exclusive jurisdiction against consumers.
