Terms of use for QuackTile

These terms of use apply to the use of the QuackTile browser extension. The provider of the extension is MikeIT.

QuackTile arranges tabs with running videos as borderless windows side by side (window tiling). It arranges real browser windows and does not pull the videos out of the pages.

There is a free version and a Pro version. The free version covers a basic scope; the Pro version lifts individual limits and unlocks extra features. Which features belong to which version is described on the product page and in the manual.

The Pro version is a one-time purchase, not a subscription. It is handled through Lemon Squeezy, our payment and license provider (Merchant of Record).

The terms of Lemon Squeezy apply to the purchase contract, payment, invoice and withdrawal. Their Lemon Squeezy terms are decisive.

The Pro license is intended for personal use. It can be activated on a limited number of devices at the same time (currently 3). The license key is not intended to be passed on to third parties.

QuackTile only shows third-party video pages in windows and does not provide any content itself. Users are themselves responsible for the videos and platforms they use and for their terms of use.

The extension is developed continuously. Individual features may change or be removed.

Because arranging real windows depends on the browser, operating system and hardware, no specific presentation can be guaranteed on every system.

The extension is provided with due care, but without any guarantee of uninterrupted or error-free operation.

Liability is governed by the statutory provisions. For slight negligence, liability is limited, as far as legally permitted, to typical, foreseeable damages.
