Terms of use for QuackTile

These terms of use apply to the use of the QuackTile browser extension. The provider of the extension is MikeIT.

QuackTile arranges tabs with running videos as borderless windows side by side (window tiling). It arranges real browser windows and does not pull the videos out of the pages.

There is a free version and a Pro version. The free version covers a basic scope; the Pro version lifts individual limits and unlocks extra features. Which features belong to which version is described on the product page and in the manual.

The Pro version is a one-time purchase, not a subscription. It is handled through Lemon Squeezy, our payment and license provider (Merchant of Record).

The terms displayed at checkout apply to the purchase contract concluded through Lemon Squeezy. Statutory rights against the relevant obligated contracting party are not excluded. Further information: Lemon Squeezy terms.

The Pro license is intended for personal use. It can be activated on a limited number of devices at the same time (currently 3). The license key is not intended to be passed on to third parties.

QuackTile only shows third-party video pages in windows and does not provide any content itself. Users are themselves responsible for the videos and platforms they use and for their terms of use.

The extension continues to be developed. Statutory conformity, update and other mandatory rights remain unaffected. Changes beyond necessary updates are made only where contractually and legally permitted, including the requirements and information duties of Section 327r BGB where applicable.

Because arranging real windows depends on the browser, operating system and hardware, no specific presentation can be guaranteed on every system.

The extension is provided with due care, but without any guarantee of uninterrupted or error-free operation.

Warranty and liability are governed by statutory provisions. Mandatory consumer rights, particularly for digital products, remain unaffected, including legally required updates and remedies.
